Cuomo, candidate for Mayor of New York City, today received the endorsement of former New York Governor David Paterson, the state’s first African-American Governor and Lieutenant Governor. The endorsement event took place outside of a senior center in the Bronx, alongside current Mayor Eric Adams, where the three had been meeting with residents in an effort to get out the vote.
On Cuomo: ‘He piped up for fiscal discipline, lower taxes, and a reform of the “public education bureaucracy,” which he calls “bloated and dysfunctional.”’
