This is the highest number since the group started tracking these incidents in 1979 and a 153 percent increase since 2022 – the year before the Oct. 7 attacks on Israel by Hamas. New York — home to the largest Jewish population outside of Israel – has the dubious distinction of having the highest number of antisemitic incidents in the nation.
