Governor Andrew M. Cuomo this evening released the following statement in response to a targeted terror attack in Boulder, Colorado.
The targeted terror attack in Colorado at an event for Israeli hostages held in Gaza represents the most vile, most dangerous, most cowardly act of hate-motivated antisemitism.
Hate foments hate. The anti-Israel rhetoric of “genocide,” “war criminals,” and “murderers” must stop. It is spreading like a cancer through the body politic.
Words matter. Leadership matters. We must stand strong and united against antisemitism and terrorism in all its forms.
