Governor Cuomo Receives the Endorsement from the Benjamin Franklin Reform Democratic Club

We want safe streets, safe subway trains, our law-abiding immigrants to be safe, and our Jewish community to have a mayor who will not tolerate antisemitism in any form. We want to feel sure that when we need a bridge fixed we have someone that has successfully and beautifully rebuilt bridges, train stations and airports. Many say they have a plan, but we want someone who knows how to manage, execute and get the job done. Andrew Cuomo is that leader for New York City.

Governor Cuomo, candidate for Mayor of New York City, received the coveted endorsement from the Benjamin Franklin Reform Democratic Club, founded in 1960 in the Bronx to promote progressive politics. The Club touted Cuomo’s proven leadership and ability to deliver on public safety, infrastructure, and protection for vulnerable communities, including immigrants and the Jewish community.

“As the President of the Benjamin Franklin Reform Democratic Club, ranked the #1 political club in the Bronx, I am thrilled that my club is supporting Andrew Cuomo for Mayor,” Virginia Krompinger, President of the Benjamin Franklin Reform Democratic Club said. “We want safe streets, safe subway trains, our law-abiding immigrants to be safe, and our Jewish community to have a mayor who will not tolerate antisemitism in any form. This endorsement means a great deal to me, and I’m honored to stand with a club that has long fought for justice, opportunity, and safe, strong communities—the very vision that I will execute upon as mayor, while delivering real results for working families and protecting the values that define this city.”

He also advanced the most substantial infrastructure program in a generation, including the Second Avenue Subway, the Moynihan Train Hall and the new Kosciuszko Bridge and the new JFK and LaGuardia Airports – all major projects built with union labor.
