Cuomo Receives Endorsement From New York League of Conservation Voters
Governor Andrew Cuomo, candidate for Mayor of New York City, today received the coveted endorsement of the New York League of Conservation Voters, a statewide environmental organization that advocates for better climate policies, for land and water conservation, and for public health protection.
“I am honored to receive the endorsement of the New York League of Conservation Voters at this critical time for our city,” Governor Cuomo said. “I am proud of the work that we have achieved together that has paved the way for a cleaner and greener New York. As Governor, I championed the most ambitious climate law, executed the nation’s largest offshore wind agreement to generate renewable energy and create good-paying jobs, and invested $33 billion in clean energy initiatives to power the future of New York. Together, we will build on these achievements to ensure New York City remains a national leader in environmental stewardship and climate advocacy.”
