Cuomo Campaign Raises Unprecedented $3.9 Million in Just 80 Days

Combined with Anticipated Matching Funds, Cuomo Campaign Has Raised Roughly $8.28M, Hitting Maximum Threshold in Record Time

In a historic show of momentum and groundswell of support, the campaign for Governor Cuomo, candidate for Mayor of New York City, announced today it has raised a total of $3.9M in the 80 days since fundraising began on February 28, 2025, achieving a groundbreaking milestone for early-cycle fundraising.

Combined with anticipated matching funds, the campaign has raised roughly $8.28M, including roughly $1.5M dispersed on May 12th, and an additional approximately $2.8M anticipated in the next round of matching funds (based on $350K raised in matchable funds this cycle), reaching the maximum amount permitted to spend for the 2025 cycle under New York City Campaign Finance Board (CFB) regulations.

“We are truly overwhelmed by the outpouring of support,” Bill Mulrow, Cuomo 2025 Campaign Chairman said. “In just 80 days, New Yorkers from every borough have come together to help us build a campaign with the broadest and most diverse coalition of support, focused on coming together to not only get New York City back on track, but make it stronger and better than ever. There is no doubt that Andrew Cuomo's proven record of leadership and decades of executive experience, combined with his vision for a brighter future and tenacity will get the job done, delivering for New York City voters in a way that they should both expect and deserve.”
