Statement from Cuomo 2018 Press Secretary Abbey Collins on Trump mini-me Marc Molinaro’s appalling record on gun safety
Cuomo 2018 released the following statement in response to today’s New York Daily News story revealing Trump mini-me Marc Molinaro voted against common-sense gun safety measures 32 times in Albany.
“The more we learn about Trump mini-me Molinaro’s pro-NRA record, the more it’s clear that he is unfit to serve as governor of New York. It’s no wonder why he was silent on his 32 votes against common-sense gun safety reforms – they show he’s more loyal to the NRA and ultra conservatives than he is to the safety of millions of New Yorkers. Molinaro voted against removing guns from convicted abusers, against the ‘Children’s Weapon Accident Prevention Act’ and against outlawing the possession of armor-piercing and explosive ammunition. He is deeply out of step with New Yorkers, who like his donors, know a bad bet when they see one.”
