Cuomo, Duffy Welcome Bipartisan Co-Chairs Under 'Big Tent'

Andrew Cuomo and Robert Duffy today welcomed their new campaign co-chairs former New York City Comptroller Bill Thompson, Congresswoman Nydia Velazquez, and former New York State Republican Chairman Pat Barrett under their big tent for reform at an event at City Hall today.
"Andrew Cuomo has shown time and again that by bringing integrity, honesty, and independence both from partisan politics and special interests government can get things done for the people," Barrett said. "He has laid out a bold agenda to reform and I am proud to stand with him and this diverse group of leaders to bring New Yorkers together regardless of their party affiliation under this big tent and behind this agenda for reform."
"The coalition is not based on party labels but instead brought together by a common purpose and common agenda to restore performance, integrity and fiscal stability to New York State government," Cuomo said.
