Cuomo spoke in front of large crowds with two clear messages about his future work as Governor: Clean up Albany and "jobs, jobs, jobs."
"“It can be better. It doesn’t have to be this way. Young people don’t have to leave New York. Jobs don’t have to leave New York. This is a great state, it really is. It can have a bright future if they are involved, if they stay involved in the political process and hold the politicians accountable,” said Cuomo.
Cuomo was accompanied by running mate Mayor Bob Duffy who said, "[Cuomo] has the guts to stand up. He doesn’t need a baseball bat to lead. He leads by what’s inside. His moral compass is right on target."
