Former LG Joins Andrew in Jamestown to Wrap Up 2nd Upstate Swing of 'Drive for a New NY'

by Cuomo 2010

"The Drive for a New NY" campaign tour rolled into Jamestown on Saturday, the last stop on a 12-county swing through the Finger Lakes and Western New York to rally support for Cuomo's 5-point Plan. Mayor Sam Teresi and Former Lieutenant Governor under Governor Mario Cuomo, Stan Lundine both introduced Cuomo.

“We need reform in this state and we need it badly," said Lundine. "I believe Andrew Cuomo is the best hope for a brighter future.”

Cuomo addressed members of the community on the front porch of the historical Robert H. Jackson center and noted that “We put the Statue of Liberty to welcome people -- all sorts of people -- Jews, Italians, Polish, Irish.  And we united under one state and one government.  We need to do that again.  We need to unite together in one voice and demand change.”
